Three cases of new mutated COVID-19 strain suspected in Lebanon

Wednesday, the Lebanese government declared that they have identified three suspected cases of the new COVID-19 strain coming from the UK.
The Minister of Health in the caretaker government, Hamad Hassan stated that specific tests are being carried to diagnose the nature of the new strain of the virus.

“The municipalities need to take all preventive measures and implement them on those arriving from the United Kingdom, to secure everyone’s safety,” he added.

Nonetheless , until now Lebanon has not suspended flights coming from the UK.
