Tunis Stock Exchange: Tunindex up slightly

Market physiognomy

The Tunis Stock Exchange concluded the session on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, with a marginal uptick. The Tunindex inched up by 0.04% to reach 8481.90 points, while the Tunindex 20 saw a slight increase of 0.01% at 3704.19 points. Among the 47 active values, the market experienced 17 declines, compared to 10 increases. The total trading volume stood at 1.9 million dinars (MD).

Behaviour of values

The most significant daily gain was seen in the MIP value, appreciating by 7.14% to 0.15 dinars (D), followed by BH LEAS, which registered an increase of 5.84% to 3.08 D. Continuing this positive trend, ESSOUKNA and SOTUMAG gained 2.13% and 2.10% respectively, reaching 1.44 D and 4.86 D. MPBS advanced by 1.99% to 4.61 D.

On the downside, TAWASOL experienced a loss of 3.75% at 0.54 D, followed by SOMOCER, which decreased by 2.70% to 0.72 D. SAM also saw a decline of 2.12% to 3.69 D. Additionally, BNA and UNIMED dropped by 1.93% and 1.86% respectively, closing at 7.11 D and 7.90 D.

In terms of transaction volume, ATTIJARI BANK led with a capital of 201 thousand dinars processed. SFBT, on the other hand, had a total volume of 192 MD. AMEN BANK saw 181 thousand dinars in trading volumes, while SAH had 165 thousand dinars. BNA was negotiated for 155 thousand dinars.
