Speaking at a press conference, Minister of Health Fawzi Mahdi declared that 12% of Tunisians have been affected by COVID-19. Following this announcement, the director of the Pasteur Institute, Hechmi Louzir explained that this rate incorporates imported cases, infected people who have not taken a test, as well as asymptomatic people.
