The infection tally with COVID-19 in educational establishments since the start of the school year reached 1907 which is distributed among students and teachers, as well as educational and administrative staff, revealed the latest update of the education ministry.
The cases are divided into 925 educational institutions. The ministry of education has likewise seized the holiday to disinfect schools with the help of regional authorities and civil society.
On the other hand, the minister of education Fethi Sellaouti took the chance of Friday plenary session to mourn those who lost their lives in the education sector due to COVID-19. He further submitted a report on infections and suspected cases in comparison to the national infection level.
Moreover, Social media platforms shared a post whereby Mr Sellaoui commented that the infection toll is below expectation, by rechecking the plenary session recording, the aforementioned statement proved to be slander and false against Mr Sellaouti.
