MPs of the House of people representatives adopted articles 8, 9 and 10 of the 2021 State Budget, which sequentially concern: the rise in consumption rights applicable to alcoholic beverages (beer and wine); the introduction of a tax of 100 millimes on each kilo of sugar meant for domestic, industrial or artisanal consumption traded by the Tunisian Trade Office or imported; and the payment of the tax applied on the energy products consumed.
