The Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, that 4,707 tests performed on September 27 and 28, 2020, revealed the contamination of 1291 people by coronavirus bringing the tally to 17,404 confirmed cases.
According to the same source, an additional 32 deaths were also recorded during those two days, bringing the death toll to 246 .
According to the same source, 331 patients with COVID-19 are currently hospitalized, 87 of whom are admitted to intensive care and 42 placed under artificial respirators.
