Tunisia-75% of Tunisian nationals in Ukraine have been repatriated

The president of the Tunisian community in Ukraine, Tarek Aloui, revealed on Sunday that the airlift set by Tunisia has allowed the repatriation of 75% of nationals living in Ukraine. He added that 20 to 25% of Tunisians stay, to this day, stranded in combat zones in Ukraine, in extremely difficult conditions, due to the lack of supplies.

Aloui confirmed that the Tunisian foreign ministry has established contacts with the Russian and Ukrainian parties, for the installation of humanitarian corridors, to allow the evacuation of Tunisians.

He gave the example of Tunisians who remained blocked in Mariupol, and who could not get out, despite Ukraine’s efforts to set up humanitarian corridors, but who are regularly bombed by the russian army.
