Ennahdha‘s Shura Council Abdelkrim Harouni denied in a press conference rumours about discords and defections in the ranks of the Islamic party.He pointed out the unifying stance inside the party.
Progress has been recorded in Prime minister-designate Elyes Fakhfakh, however, it does not rise to a Government of National Unity which he had promised, said Harouni. He stressed the country urgent need to defend itself in the face of the harsh regional conditions that require a Government of National Unity with a solid policial and parliamentary backing that is capable of taking decisions and fundamental reformations.
The Shura council values the decisive role of the Tunisian General Labour Union and Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts to narrow the divergencies in views, he added.
The same source said that the council admits the modification performed by the designate PM, nevertheless, they are still anticipating for the final version of the government formation and a draft to explain Fakhfakh cabinet program. He pointed out the reintegration of the ministries of Local development and Environment.
He also displayed his party sternness in not negotiating in case they discovered anyone in the government suspected of corruption.He concluded that the party has tasked the executive committee with finishing off the government formation consultations, asserting that Ennahdha is not afraid of re-elections nonetheless its
