Speaking to a private radio channel,former Ennahdha member Abdellatif Mekk said that an Egyptian diplomat living in Tunisia brags about his ability to control what is occurring in Tunisia, even at private parties. He called on the Republican security forces to take the required measures to defend national sovereignty.
Abdellatif Mekki likewise estimated that the President of the Republic Kais Saied, house speaker Rached Ghannouchi and the PDL leader Abir Moussi participated in the events which paved the ground for the “coup d’état of July 25” through the ‘accentuation of the crisis between the legislative and executive powers.
