Abdellatif Mekki indicated that the national dialogue cannot occur in such a situation, reemphasising that the President of the Republic, Kais Saied currently retains all the powers in his hands and does not show any respect for the Constitution.
In this sense, he called for the necessity to put an end to the state of emergency and to respect the Constitution in order to be able to put in place an efficient national dialogue.
