Tunisia-Abir Moussi launches new motion to withdraw confidence from Rached Ghannouchi

PDL leader Abir Moussi declared a new motion calling for the withdrawal of the confidence from House speaker Rached Ghannouchi.

The MP asked MPs to speed up the gathering of the signatures needed to present the request and submit it to the plenary session for a vote in accordance with rule 51 of the rules of procedure.

She justified this decision by “the persistence of the President of the Parliament throughout the work of the Parliament office held yesterday, to reverse the plenary session, to turn against the will of the deputies, to inflict the taking of decisions inside the office employing force and violating internal regulations ”.

“All this with the aim of commanding Parliament to implement a political plan with unknown properties and consequences,” she insists.

Moussi also examined that keeping Ghannouchi as head of parliament represents a menace to the country’s national security.
