Afek Tounes expressed in a statement its surprise regarding the approach announced by Prime minister-designate Elyes Fakhfakh that relied on dividing parties into two separate meetings during the discussion of the reference document of the government programme.
The party agreed with positivity to attend the session of review of the background paper of the government programme out of concern for the national interest and keenness to enhance exchange with reformation offers.
However, the party displayed astonishment at the selection of an unfamiliar method which does not manifest transparency and does not strengthen confidence.
The party requested the PM to revise the strategy used and include all national forces without exclusion or discrimination in the review of the content of this document.
