Ajmi Lourimi was designated as the new secretary general of the Ennahdha Movement following the Shura Council meeting held on October 29 and 30, 2023.
The party explained , in an official statement, that the position of secretary general had been empty since the resignation of Zied Laadhari after the 2019 legislative elections.
