Rachid Ammar, former army chief of staff disclosed that ex-defence minister Ridha Grira requested him to apprehend ex-presidential security chief Ali Seriati, who was planning a coup of state.
During a hearing at the Transitional Justice Chamber at the Tunis Court of First Instance, Ammar added that he received instructions to fire on members of the Trabelsi clan at the airport, but he declined to execute this order.
