The Tunisian Association of Democratic Women commented on the case of female workers and trade unionists working in a factory in El Baten under Kairouan governorate who were physically attacked by their employer.
The association announced its regional representative in Kairouan and the secretary-general of the regional labour union Sayed Sboui are following the case closely. According to the same source, official Mounira Balghouthi accompanied the victims to the special unit to fight violence against women to exert the necessary measures.
