Aswat nissa called for the significance of securing the political rights of women and their access to decision-making positions in an effective manner, and of protecting women civil society activists (politicians, journalists, etc.) from violence and exclusion.
The Association urged the serious application of the existing legal arsenal, whether it involves the fight against violence against women, the regulation of domestic work or the guarantee of socio-economic rights of women agricultural workers and stop their economic exploitation.
“Aswat Nissa” voiced its commitment to the full rights of women without division and the importance of full and effective equality between citizens and the protection of acquired rights and freedoms, the TAP reported.
