Prime minister-designate Elyes Fakhfakh will be holding an official meeting with the Secretaries-General of the parties invited to take part in the government formation, to address the background document for the government program. The meeting programmed for last Saturday has been postponed at the request of Ennahdha.

The two-day delay will not impact the deliberations, said Member of Al Badil Ettounsi’s political bureau  Wael Haddad in a declaration to Tunisie Numérique.

There is a necessity for a consensus , he added, indicating that parties have to sign the background document.

Forming the government is essential , However, Al Badil Ettounsi believes that that the period of examination of the government program is the most critical part in the consultations relating to the formation of the government , affirmed Haddad.
