Machrouu Tounes decided not to participate in prime minster designate Elyes Fakhfakh meeting to deliberate on contract document for the government program.
The party stressed in an issued statement that they were never concerned with the government formation from the beginning however, they attempted to establish a reform program. The party regretted not participating in a consultation path filled with systematic disorientation and political subjugation.
In the issued declaration they denounced the absurdity of diminishing parties engagement in consultations to solely Ennahda Movement and Rached Ghannouchi.
