Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, member of the scientific committee for the fight against the Coronavirus Amenallah Messaadi concluded that the number of infections will experience a descending course following the travel ban and gatherings from May 9 to 16, 2021.
Mr Messaadi stated there is no red line concerning the implementation of restrictive measures by the scientific committee, particularly about the general lockdown, curfews and resumption of classes.
Reflecting on the easing or tightening of restrictive measures after Eid, Mr Messaadi said this depends on the progression of the epidemiological situation in the country.
