The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, received today, Monday April 1, 2024, at the Carthage Palace, Imed Hazgui, president of the Higher Authority for Administrative and Financial Control and rapporteur of the Verification Operations Steering Commission Recruitment and Integration into the Civil Service, as well as in organizations, institutions, public establishments, companies with public participation and other public structures carried out between January 14, 2011 and July 25, 2021.
The meeting examined the results of the audit operations of recruitment and integration into the public service, especially the problems encountered by the commission in carrying out the tasks entrusted to it.
The Head of State highlighted the vital importance of verification operations, which concern nearly 432 thousand recruitments, “because it is impossible to clean the country if those who have been recruited do not respect the legal conditions.”
According to him, a notable number of them were recruited and integrated “based on allegiances to this or that entity, while those with the legal right to be recruited continue to suffer from unemployment to this day.
