Tunisia-Ban on movement between governorates still in force

Travel between governorates is still banned, except for work obligation and upon the offering of proof and for students, Tunis governor Chedly Bouallegue announced on Tuesday (December 8th).

Speaking to Mosaique FM, the governor revealed that this measure will remain in force until December 30.

Interior Minister Taoufik Charfeddine stated on November 11 that no authorization for movement between governorates will be granted and that citizens are called upon to comply with these provisions. He added that the security units will secure the proper application of these measures and that security campaigns will be carried out for this purpose.

So to be able to move between the governorates, you will be requested to present supporting documents, including student cards for students.
