Following heavy rainfalls in different delegations of the governorate of Beja, a traffic obstruction took place today, Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the level of the tarmac and unnumbered road joining Sidi Madyen and Medjez El Bab following the flooding of the El-Hmar valley.
The civil protection units of the Medjez El Bab division evacuated 04 people who ventured onto a blocked road. Civil Protection agents further cleared 02 vehicles.
Likewise, the Regional Directorate of Civil Protection of Beja called for the following:
- Do not pass flooded areas, either on foot or by car, as the current can be strong.
- Do not take the peril of crossing rivers and valleys by car, and listen to bulletins and reports on road blockages.
