The General Directorate of Forests stated Thursday that the burned area in Boukronine mountain is estimated at 533 hectares, according to the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries.
The ministry explained, in a press release published Thursday, that the fire declared Tuesday at Mount Boukornine and extending to Jebel Borj Cedria in the governorate of Ben Arous was brought under control today Thursday at 10:20 am.
