Tunisia has recorded 1598 coronavirus infections and 52 new deaths from the virus on December 28, the health ministry reported on Tuesday night.
Accordingly, the infection tally has hit 134.802 so far, against 4.570 deaths. Meanwhile, recoveries increased by 3156 to 104,404.
1521 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised of whom 330 are in ICU and 113 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
