540 more cases of infection with the new coronavirus were recorded on September 16, bringing the tally to 9110 confirmed cases, the Health Ministry said on Saturday morning.
The death tally reached 138 after reporting five new deaths while the number of patients currently hospitalised reached 152, including 54 in the intensive care and 18 patients under a respirator.
