Tunisian’s health authorities declared on Tuesday that 1002 people tested positive for coronavirus on March 29, bringing the overall tally to 252,171.
Out of the figure, 216,712 infections were successfully treated, up by 792 compared to yesterday. Meanwhile, 28 patients died in the same period. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8788 cases ended in death.
1.161 hospitalisations were recorded on the same date, including 300 in intensive care units and 105 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
