The General Federation for Basic Education called on the supervisory authorities to hire temporary teachers and to break with the oppressive policies they use.
The federation accused the Ministry of Education of subtracting social security costs from the wages of contract teachers without them being registered with the CNSS or CNRPS.
It also called for enabling contractual primary school teachers to initially obtain a 12-month contract in order to subsequently assign them as trainees.
