The Minister of the Interior, Taoufik Charfeddine, declared that he had given Noureddine Bhiri’s wife consent to visit him and that she could bring her children with her, if she desired, and that she could be accompanied by the President of the Bar, and a physician of her choice.
But, he added, after having conceded to all her requests, Bhiri’s wife refused to meet him.
