Tunisia-CNLCT froze property of 148 people including two “very dangerous” terrorists

The National Commission for the Fight against Terrorism (CNLCT) in Tunisia has reported 148 names, including natural and legal individuals, on the national list presumed to be implicated in terrorist crimes. This information was provided by Dhafer Ben Hamida, director of the unit responsible for implementing UN resolutions related to the prevention of the financing of terrorism.

The list, issued on January 11 on the Commission’s website, includes two decisions to freeze the assets and property of two classified “very dangerous” terrorist elements, Ameur Belazi and Alaeddine Ghazouani. The execution of the commission’s decisions has led to the confiscation of funds and assets worth 700 thousand dinars.

Further, 59 decisions to renew the freeze were officially declared in the Official Journal of the Tunisian Republic (JORT).
