Court officials declared an open strike in a ruling that comes after a meeting held by the union’s executive committee. The demonstrators demand the certification of the diplomas of officials and executives of the Ministry of Justice as well as bonuses connected to the nature of the work.
An agreement was signed on Friday, December 18, 2020, between the Presidency of the Government, represented by its Secretary-General Walid Dhahbi, and the Association of Tunisian Magistrates (AMT) represented by Anas Hammadi.
With this agreement, the AMT is anticipated to end its strike, pending the position of the Syndicates of Magistrates and Agents and Executives of Justice.
