Tarek Ben Naceur, regional director of health in Tunis assured, this Wednesday, January 3, 2024, that no case of infection by the new covid variant “JN.1” has been found in Tunisia
Speaking on radio, he clarified that “This new variant presents, in addition to the classic symptoms, eye irritation and diarrhea (…) Elderly people, who have chronic illnesses, are especially vulnerable and must adopt prevention measures like the vaccine”.
