In an intervention on private radio, the regional director of the National Pharmacovigilance Center Riadh Daghfous reported that no new infection by the new JN-1 variant of Covid has been registered in Tunisia.
He clarified that the new variant is not worrying but is notable for its rapid spread.
As for the epidemiological situation in the country, Daghfous revealed that 30 COVID-19 contaminations are documented every week.
