President Kaïs Saïed, on Tuesday, addressed a cable of condolences to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, after the death of Secretary-General of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO), Saeb Erekat.
The president of the republic extended his genuine condolences to the Palestinian President and people, communicating his feelings of sympathy and solidarity, said a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.
In this message, Kais Said recalls the accomplishments of the Erekat.
He said: «he was among the righteous men of Palestine who made a vow to God to uphold the just Palestinian cause and left a timeless mark in the honourable history of Palestine which future generations will remember with pride.”
