Three Egyptian military planes carrying medical equipment and oxygen landed at Carthage airport.
The presidency of the Republic of Tunisia extended its gratitude to Egypt, emphasising the depth of bonds between the two nations, according to a statement released today.
The delivery ceremony was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Othman Jerandi, acting Minister of Health Ali Mrabet, the Principal Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of national security Lieutenant-General Abdel Raouf Atallah, The director-general of military health Mustapha Ferjani, as well as the Egyptian ambassador Iheb Fahmi.
