Health minister Faouzi Mehdi reported today that the scientific commission opposed the demonstration organized by the Ennahdha Movement on February 27 and was not asked prior to the march.
Faouzi Mehdi stated that any gathering and that any vicinity of less than one meter between people outlines a risk.
At the same time, he asserted that more than 40 new strains of the coronavirus have been registered, explaining that this is perfectly normal since the virus mutates in one way or another.
He said the risk of the new British variant manifests itself in spead, noting that it affects young people and children.
