The spokesperson for the Civil Protection Office, Moez Triaâ confirmed to Mosaïque FM that National Army helicopters interfered to extinguish the fire which spread not far from Jebel Boukornine, this Tuesday, July 19, 2022 .
He added that three passes have been made so far. On the ground, the number of Civil Protection trucks has grown from eight to ten in addition to four forest ranger trucks. He remarked that the fire is still uncontained due to the inaccessible forest and mountain nature.
