Foreign Minister Noureddine Erray encouraged Swiss companies to gain the advantage of the many special advantages granted by the Tunisian market.
Speaking on Friday during his meeting with Swiss Ambassador in Tunis, Etienne Thévoz, Erray further encouraged the Swiss to choose Tunisia as a tourist destination in the light of the apparent improvement in the health situation in both countries.
On this opportunity, Erray seized the opportunity to display Tunisia’s appreciation to Switzerland for the financial aid provided to Tunisia as part of its efforts to deal with the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The minister also commended the dynamic nature of Tunisian-Swiss relations, expressing his wish to see cooperation between the two countries strengthened in the various fields.
For his part, Mr Thévoz emphasised the value his country attaches to strengthening cooperation with Tunisia. He embraced the frequent exchange of visits between senior officials of the two countries in recent years.
He affirmed Switzerland’s willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various areas such as communication technologies, higher education, health and regular migration.
