Tunisia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York Moncef Baati has been dismissed “for purely professional reasons,” the Foreign Ministry announced in a released statement.
The ministry attributed his dismissal to his poor performance and lack of coordination and interaction with the ministry on significant issues arising within the UN.
