The governorate of Gabes has reported five new cases of Typhoid fever ( Four children and one woman) in Ghannouch region, Gabes local health director Riadh Chaouch told Mosaique FM.
The children were admitted to the paediatrics while the woman in the infectious disease department at Gabes regional hospital, he pointed out.
He also said that 14 children are also currently placed in the paediatric department and 7 in infectious disease as the hospital is pending their test results.
