The General Administration of the National Guard responded, in a statement on a scene in the episode of the soap opera “El Foundou” broadcast on April 24, 2021, on El Hiwar Ettounsi.
It condemned the scene in which a National Guard border patrol took a bribe from the driver while examining a vehicle.
The Guard Administration additionally explained that it had not received from any official party directing the artistic work or the script, a request for the supply of an administrative vehicle or a uniform reserved for National Guard units.
It also announced that the appearance of the officers in used uniforms does not match that of the administrative staff and that the vehicle employed is not listed in the National Guard park and is only a civilian car bearing the logo and name of the National Guard.
It also announced the opening of an administrative inquiry and the prosecution of all those who damage the image of the body.
