Ennahdha leader Rached Ghanouchi confirmed this Sunday, April 24, 2022, that the process of the electoral operation will be managed within the Presidential Palace.
Speaking with Al Jazeera, Ghannouchi stated that Tunisians will not accept exchanging the rule of law and freedoms for an authoritarian state, led by Kais Saied. He added that the head of state destroyed Tunisia via the dissolution of parliament and that he put his hands on the electoral commission to assume all powers.
