Secretary-general of the Democratic Current, Ghazi Chaouachi, announced that the state of health of MP Samia Abbou deteriorated due to the hunger strike that lasted for five days.
In a Facebook post published this Sunday, January 17, 2021, Chaouachi stated that for this purpose, Abbou was rushed to hospital in order to receive the needed care.
