Grand Mufti of Tunisia Othman Battikh announced on Wednesday that sighting of the crescent moon of the holy month of Ramadan will not be conducted today due to the imposed curfew that begins at 6:00 pm.
In a statement to Shems FM, he affirmed that he will rely on the National Meteorological Institute (INM) to sight the crescent due its sophisticated, modern and precise equipment.
