The Board of the High Independent Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HAICA) approved the creation of an educational television channel.
The demand was formed, on March 30, 2020, by Mohamed Lassaad Dahech, President and CEO of the Tunisian Television Corporation.
It provides for the Inauguration of an educational television channel called “Al Watanyia Tarbaouia”, published the regulator.
An arrangement on the organisation of the channel’s work will be approved in the coming days.
The Tunisian Television Corporation will work with the Ministry of Education for the production and broadcasting of courses for different levels of education through this channel, reads a statement from HAICA.
