Tunisia-HAICA issues warning to CAP FM radio

The Independent High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HAICA) declared on Wednesday that it had sent a warning to the private radio channel CAP FM in which it calls the channel to avoid confusion in the use of the language in the media content broadcast on its airwaves.
In this context, it called on the radio to uphold the specifications and the license agreement associating to the proper use of the language.
According to a press release from the authority, HAICA urges to CAP FM “not to use a hybrid language and to offer all the programs in a single clear and exact language, whether in the Arabic language or the dialect. Tunisian “.
It also calls on the radio hosts to translate the terms used by the guests into a foreign language.
