Interim Defence Minister Mohamed Karim Jamoussi gave an inspection visit Sbeïtla military base and the 11th Mechanised Infantry Regiment
in Kasserine.
Jamoussi inquired about the units operational readiness and the living circumstances of servicemen.
Jamoussi hailed the military efforts in fighting ward off threats of terrorism, organised crime, smuggling and illegal immigration.
He further expressed that the state is executing all attempts to improve the operational capabilities of armed forces concerning equipment, intelligence and training.
