The president of the Independent Higher Authority for Elections (ISIE) Farouk Bouasker revealed yesterday the final composition of local councils, the total number of which is estimated at 279.
Bouasker disclosed that it was decided to set up the councils in question next Friday, March 1, after coordination with the Ministry of the Interior.
The inaugural session of each council will be chaired by the deputy with the greatest number of votes, expressed Bouasker.
