Head of State Kais Saied decided on Thursday to terminate Ali Marmouri’s duties as governor. The Palace of Carthage did not specify the causes for this dismissal, nor indicated whether a successor has been assigned to this position. It is recalled that Marmouri was appointed governor of Jendouba in 2019. In 2017, he held the post of governor of Zaghouan.
