The union of officials of the General Directorate of Intervention Units said, via its Facebook page, that Lieutenant-Colonel Jomaâ Aboud passed away in front of Ibn Al Jazzar hospital in Kairouan from respiratory failure.
The victim had tested positive for the coronavirus.
