The Regional Director of Health of Kasserine, Abdelghani Chaabani affirmed in a statement to a private radio this Thursday evening, that a 50-year-old man sustained second and third-degree burns to the point that the medical staff had to put him on an artificial respirator with intubation to rescue him.
According to Chaabani, the man set himself on fire this evening and was moved to the burns hospital in Ben Arous to receive the required medical treatment.The reasons for this suicide attempt have not yet been determined.
